Kyrgyz FM, Minister of Development and Foreign Trade of Finland discuss bilateral cooperation

On the sidelines of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly in New York, a meeting was held between Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov and Minister of Development and Foreign Trade of Finland Willy Skinneri. The sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, including the organization of the visit of the prime minister of Kyrgyzstan to Finland in the near future, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. Aidarbekov focused on the need for further development of mutually beneficial cooperation in such areas as interparliamentary contacts, ensuring environmental safety in mining, hydropower, renewable energy, the green economy, and others. He noted the importance for Kyrgyzstan of developing ties between leading Finnish companies in various fields with Kyrgyz partners for the exchange of experience and Finnish technologies. The sides agreed to maintain regular contacts and continue cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats.
