Finance Minister receives UKEF Chief Executive

Manama, Sept. 26 (BNA): Minister of Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa affirmed the ongoing stimulation of non-oil sectors to press ahead with economic growth in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He stressed the need to boost contribution of those sectors to the Gross Domestic Product by attracting more investment opportunities to promote growth and prosperity. He was speaking as he received today Chief Executive of UK Export Finance (UKEF), Louis Taylor. He pointed out the need to open broader horizons for bilateral cooperation and build on the distinguished economic partnership between the two friendly countries. Both sides discussed economic issues and ways of benefiting from the British experience at UKEF. They also discussed global economic issues of common interest.
