Labour Minister receives GCC official

Manama, Sept. 27 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan received Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Hajri, who was reappointed as director-general of the GCC Labour and Social Development Councils executive office. He congratulated Dr. Al-Hajri on his reappointment in recognition of his dedicated efforts to enhance GCC work and bolster cooperation, praising the role od the GCC Labour and Social Development Councils executive office. He expressed support to the GCC Labour and Social Development Councils executive office to assume its role, in light with the visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to bolster the joint GCC march and meets Gulf nationals’ aspirations. He reiterated Bahrain’s expertise and initiatives to combat unemployment and integrae citizens in the labour market and consolidate its social protection systems, shedding light on the national strategy to promote vocational training for citizens to work in the private sector. Dr. Al-Hajri commended Bahrain’s support to the GCC Labour and Social Development Councils executive office as well its keenness on providing all facilities. He underlined the office’s achievements in bolstering labour and social cooperation and exchanging expertise.
