Bahraini Ambassador meets Former President in Sarajevo

Sarajevo, Sept. 29 (BNA): Moscow-based Bahrain Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati met with former President Haris Silajdžić. They discussed a number of topics of common interest. The ambassador praised the friendly cooperation relations between the Kingdom and Bosnia and Herzegovina and their progress and development at all levels, stressing Bahrain’s keenness to enhance bilateral relations for the benefit of the two friendly countries and peoples. The former president entrusted the ambassador with conveying his sincere greetings and best wishes to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and reiterated his pride in the honorable stance of Bahrain in support of his people during the Balkan War in the 1990s. He said Bahrain’s supportive stance had greatly mobilized international support to end the war and push for recognition of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s independence at the United Nations, wishing Bahrain continued progress and prosperity.
