HRH Crown Prince receives newly appointed Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka

Manama, Sept. 29 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister today met the newly appointed Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Her Excellency Pradeepa Saram, at Riffa Palace. During the meeting, HRH the Crown Prince highlighted the importance of further strengthening relations and cooperation with Sri Lanka across various sectors. HRH the Crown Prince welcomed the newly appointed Ambassador to Bahrain, and wished HE Saram success in her new diplomatic role. HRH the Crown Prince and HE Saram discussed regional and international issues of common interest. HE Saram expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet HRH the Crown Prince, and noted HRH the Crown Prince’s support to furthering bilateral and cooperative ties.
