Kyrgyz dancers win gold at international tournament in Russia

Bishkek, Oct. 1, 2019 / Kabar/. A dancing couple from Kyrgyzstan won the first place at the modern, sports ballroom dance WDSF International Open “Empire Cup 2019” tournament in Russia, the Federation of this sport of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. Competitions were held on Sept. 28-29 in Moscow with the participation of dancers from 17 countries. A pair of Howard Cholponbaev and Aybike Nurlanova performed in the category "Juniors-2 B class, European program", they became the first of 38 groups. In the section "Juniors-2 B class, Latin American program" they became the fifth.
