Speaker congratulates BACA President

Manama, Oct. 1 (BNA): Representatives Council Speaker Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal sent a cable of congratulations to President of Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) Shaikha Mai bint Mohammed Al Khalifa on receiving the Cultural and Scientific Achievement Award of the Sultan Bin Ali Al Owais Cultural Foundation. She praised her efforts in developing the cultural sector, preserving Bahrain's rich civilisational heritage and promoting the kingdom's international status in the cultural field in the prosperous era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. The Representatives Council Speaker asserted the council's support to cultural projects, pointing out that the award is an added value to the track record of accomplishments brought about under the comprehensive reform approach in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
