PRESIDENT TO CAST VOTE NEAR CIKEAS HOME

Bandung, April 8 (ANTARA) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and members of his family will cast their votes at polling station number 03 (TPS 03) at Puri Cikeas, Nagrak village, Gunungputri sub-district, Bogor district, West Java, on Thursday.

"Based on the fixed voters list, the president will cast his vote at TPS 03 in Nagrak village Gunung Putri subdistrict (Puri Cikeas)," the chairman of West Java's General Elections Commission (KPUD), H Ferry Kurnia, said here on Wednesday.

Kurnia said Yudhoyono had so far always cast his vote at a polling station within the area of his private home in Puri Cikeas in various regional head, legislative and presidential elections.

West Java Governor H Ahmad Heryawan also confirmed that Yudhoyono would cast his vote in Thursday's legislative elections at TPS 03 within the Puri Cikeas housing complex.

"The president and his family members will vote at the PTS 03 in Nagrak village," Heryawan said.

A total of 171 million eligible voters are expected to flock to polling stations on Thursday to cast votes in a legislative elections where a total of 28 political parties vying for 560 seats in the House of Representatives.***1***
