Information Minister hails 2019 Government Forum

Manama, Oct.3 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister, Bahrain Institute of Political Development (BIPD) Board of Trustees’ chairman commended the 2019 Government Forum held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, the Prime Minister, following the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Prime Minister.
He stressed the importance of 2019 Government Forum which, he said, aims to consolidate the efficiency of the Government’s work and support the march of comprehensive development process.
He said that the high-level 2019 Government Forum would be attended by ministers, executive officials and Government agencies, stressing the importance of the event which occurs in the run-up of the inauguration of the second session of the 5th legislative term, reflecting keenness on implanting projects and initiatives incorporated in the Government Programme 2019-2022 "Sustainable Economic and Social Security in parallel with Fiscal Balance".
The minister commended constructive cooperation between the executive and legislative branches of government to support the democratic process, spearhead infrastructure, services, health, educational and housing projects, hailing wide-ranging legislations, efficient partnership between the public and private sectors towards serving the nation and citizens, creating more rewarding working opportunities and achieving financial balance and promoting economic and social development in accordance with the 2030 Bahrain Economic Vision, based on the principles of Justice, Competitiveness and Sustainability.
He affirmed the ministry’s keenness on implementing a wide-ranging plan to ensure the coverage of the 2019 Government Forum and plenary sessions, in an atmosphere of transparency civilized dialogue via radio and TV programmes, Bahrain News Agency (BNA), social media websites, which contributes to informing citizens about key development topics, plans and programmes, which represent the cornerstone of development, within the landmark project led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
