BNA director-general highlights forum media coverage

Manama, Oct. 5 (BNA): Bahrain News Agency (BN) director-general Abdulla Khalil Bouhejji paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, who laid the foundations for wide-ranging development in all fields, including the media. He stressed the importance of the 2019 Government Forum, to convene tomorrow (Oct.6) under the patronage of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and following the initiative of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, First Deputy Premier. He hailed the continuous success of the forum which highlights wide-ranging development programmes and plans, stressing the vital role of the media, as the cornerstone for building present societies through partnerships with the public and private sector to update citizens on latest developments. “Bahrain News Agency (BNA) has drawn-up a plan to cover the 4th edition of the Government Forum which will be held tomorrow”, he said, citing the directives of the Minister of Information Affairs Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi to ensure outstanding media coverage. He said that the agency would keep society updated about all details and developments of the 2019 Government Forum. He underlined BNA-led efforts and coordination with Bahrain Radio and TV and different other ministry’s news platforms to keep citizens and residents update about the event, including reports highlighting the Government’s achievements and future plans through ministries. He underlined the importance of the outstanding media service, which represents a key pillar of the Government’s work and one of the important factors that contribute to attracting investments by consolidating transparency in public institutions, highlighting development achievements and updating citizens and residents’ about Bahrain’s strenuous efforts.
