Ba-Sura: Cabinet gave time limit for Hudeidah University rector, physical sports college dean to present resignations
SANA'A, April 08 (Saba)- Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Saleh BA-Sura affirmed on Wednesday that the cabinet gave a week time limit for rector of the University of Hudeidah and dean of Physical Sports College in order to present their resignations due to drowning incident of eight students of the Physical Sports College.
The minister emphasized, answering reporters in a press conference, the importance
of issuing academic regulations to punish outlaws and reward who committed to them.
He referred the reason for the drowning of the eight students to carelessness in the
first stance and absence of the coach in charge, in addition to neglecting safety
regulations during training.
Ba-Sura affirmed that they will reconsider the general situation of the college and
provide the requirements and equipment it needs for a better educational process.
