Danish queen receives Bahrain ambassador's credentials

Copenhagen, Oct. 8 (BNA): Her Majesty Queen Margaret II of Denmark received the credentials of Bahraini Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark, residing in Brussels, Dr. Bahia Jawad Al Jishi. The Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister, Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to Queen Margaret II. She also noted His Majesty the King’s keenness to strengthen relations and develop cooperation for the benefit of both Kingdoms and their people. For her part, Her Majesty Queen Margaret II requested the Ambassador to convey her greetings to His Majesty the King, His Royal Highness the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, recalling with gratitude her visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain in 2011. She also wished the Ambassador further success. On the sidelines of the visit, Dr. Bahia Jawad Al Jishi met with Undersecretary for Foreign Policy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Lisbet Zilmer-Johns. They discussed ways of developing relations and cooperation between the two Kingdoms. The Ambassador also met with the Chief of Protocol at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark, Michael Zilmer-Johns. She handed him a copy of her credentials as an Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Denmark, residing in Brussels. The Chief of Protocol wished her and the Kingdom of Bahrain further success and development.
