HM King lauds Bahrain's glorious judicial history

Manama, Oct. 8 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at Safriyah Palace today President of the Court of Cassation and Deputy President of the Supreme Judicial Council Chancellor Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainin as well as members of the council, marking the issuance of the royal decree restructuring the Supreme Judicial Council. HM the King took pride in Bahrain's glorious history in the judicial field and its pioneering status in setting up national institutions, stressing autonomy of the judiciary to serve the community and protect rights. He praised the dedicated efforts of Chancellor Al Buainin and members of the Supreme Judicial Council in assuming their national responsibility and serving the nation and citizens. He also paid tribute to Bahraini judges for their tremendous efforts to achieve justice and protect people's rights according to the law. HM the King lauded the ongoing development and organisation of Bahrain's judiciary, stressing the kingdom's unwavering keenness to upgrade its institutions and provide them with qualified national competencies. He also asserted Bahrain's unwavering commitment to its noble and humanitarian approach of boosting tolerance, justice and equality. Chancellor Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainin extended on behalf of members of the judicial branch sincerest thanks and gratitude to HM the King for his unflinching care and support to the kingdom's judiciary.
