FMs of Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan meet in Baku

Bishkek, Oct.14, 2019 /Kabar/. Today, Oct.14 as part of preparation to the VII Summit of Heads of State of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Chingiz Aidarbekov met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov. The sides discussed promising areas of bilateral cooperation, noting with satisfaction the successful holding of the III meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic and Humanitarian Cooperation, which was held on Oct.7, 2019 in Bishkek, the press service of Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Ministry reported. The foreign ministers also stressed the need to strengthen political dialogue through bilateral visits at various levels. Aidarbekov and Mammadyarov exchanged views on topical issues on the international and regional agenda, as well as confirmed mutual commitment to further development of bilateral relations.
