BDF commander-in-chief receives US MARCENT commander

Manama, Oct, 22 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, received at the BDF†s General Command today, the Commander of United States Marine Corps Forces Central Command (MARCENT), Lieutenant General Carl E. Mundy, and his accompanying delegation. Defence Affairs Minister, Lieutenant-General Abdulla bin Hassan Al-Nuaimi, and Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, were present. The commander-in-chief reviewed with the US delegation the existing Bahrain-US friendship relations, and ways to further strengthen them in various fields, especially regarding joint military coordination and defence cooperation. Director of the Court of the BDF†s General Command, Major-General Hassan Mohammed Saad, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering, Rear Admiral Yussef Ahmed Malallah, Director of Military Cooperation, Rear Admiral Mohammed Hashim Al-Sada, and a number of senior BDF officers attended.
