HM King congratulated by Derasat chairman on BIDEC success

Manama, Oct. 31 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable of congratulations from the Chairman of the Middle East Military Technology Conference (MEMTEC), the official Spokesman for the second edition of the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC 2019) and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Centre for Strategic, International and Energy Studies (Derasat), Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, on the outstanding success of BIDEC 2019. He stressed that BIDEC, held under HM the King’s patronage, is among the most important comprehensive defence exhibitions and intellectual forums at the world level. He affirmed that thanks to HM King Hamad’s patronage and the efforts exerted by HM the King’s Personal Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor, Royal Guard Commander and BIDEC’s High Organising Committee Chairman, Major-General HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, BIDEC has proved to the world Bahrain’s distinguished capabilities to host mega events, strengthen its standing on the world exhibitions and conferences map and support sustainable development efforts. He wished the kingdom further progress and prosperity, under HM the King’s leadership. HM King Hamad sent a cable of thanks to Dr. Shaikh Abdulla bin Ahmed Al Khalifa in reply to his congratulatory cable, stressing that the event’s success has confirmed Bahrainis’ ability to lift the national banners at various gatherings.
