Deputy Premier meets Czech Foreign Minister

Manama, Oct.31 (BNA): Deputy Premier Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa hosted a lunch banquet at the Ritz Carlton Bahrain in honour of the Czech Foreign Minister Tomáš Petříček, marking his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain. Present were Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Khalifa and other ministers and officials. The Deputy Premier hailed outstanding bilateral relations binding the two countries in all fields, stressing mutual keenness on further bolstering and expanding joint cooperation. He recalled his visit to Czech Republic in 2013, during which he met his counterpart and other senior officials. A memorandum of understanding was also signed to expand cooperation, exchange expertise and encourage trade and economic ties. He underscored the importance of seizing promising investment opportunities in both countries, particularly in the trade, technological, industrial, tourism and health sectors. Czech Foreign Minister Tomáš Petříček expressed thanks to the Deputy Premier and stressed keenness on developing bilateral relations, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity. Regional and international developments of common concern were discussed.
