Ambassador to Indonesia participates in 2nd Ministerial Meeting of Archipelagic, Island States Forum

Jakarta, Nov. 1 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Mohammed Ghassan Mohammed Adnan Sheikho, participated in the Second Ministerial Meeting of Archipelagic and Island States Forum, which was held in Manado, Republic of Indonesia from October 30th to November 1st. His participation was at the invitation of the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, and in the presence of representatives of 25 States and a number of international organizations. The meeting aims to strengthen cooperation among archipelagic and island states to develop and encourage startups, develop cooperation frameworks to mitigate climate change, strengthen disaster management capacity and address the economic challenges of the blue economy, including fisheries and aquaculture, as well as creating decent jobs and combating marine and other pollution.
