Deputy FM receives UNHCR, IOM officials in Geneva

GENEVA, April 10 (Saba)- Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs head of
the National Committee for Refugees Affairs Ali Hasan met on Friday
vice of the UN Higher Commissioner for Refugees Affairs Erika
Filler.

During the meeting, they discussed the importance of the
availability of a legal system to deal with refugees issues which
differentiates between migrants and refugees, specially under the
current flux of a number of African refugees.

On the other hand, Hasan also met with vice director of the
International Organization for Migration (IOM) and discussed aspects
of cooperation between Yemen and the IOM, in addition to means of
strengthening this kind of cooperation.

Hasan expressed appreciation for the positive role played by the IOM
via presenting aid for victims due to floods which struck Hadramout
governorate last year.
