Chechen President receives HH Lt- Colonel Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad

Grozny, Nov. 10 (BNA): Royal Guard’s Special Force Commander, Lieutenant Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, arrived in the sisterly Chechen Republic at the invitation of President Ramzan Akhmadovich Kadyrov. HH Shaikh Khalid was welcomed upon arrival at Grozny Airport by the country's Prime Minister Mr Muslim Khuchiyev as well as Bahrain's Ambassador to the Russia, Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Sa'ati. HH Shaikh Khalid later met President Ramzan Akhmadovich Kadyrov in a formal reception ceremony organised at the Presidential Palace, during which they exchanged cordial talks on the Kingdom's solid relations with the Chechen Republic. Moreover, HH Shaikh Khalid extended President Kadyrov the greetings and appreciation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, as well as wishes of more progress and success in all sectors for the Chechen Republic for. On this occasion, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa said: "We are happy to be here today in the sisterly Chechen Republic, with which we have special ties across all levels and we hope through this visit to bolster the special links between both countries. I take this opportunity to thank Your Excellency for the warm and kind hospitality and reception, appreciating your enormous efforts towards strengthening the relationships between both countries." President Kadyrov requested HH Shaikh Khalid to convey his greetings to HM King Hamad, as well as his wishes of further progress and prosperity to Bahrain. He also said: "Your Highness' visit will undoubtedly make our special relations more solid. I wish you and your accompanying delegation a happy visit to your second home." President Kadyrov also hailed HH Shaikh Khalid's efforts in building collaboration bridges between both nations. Meanwhile, HH Shaikh Khalid witnessed a joint military training and exercises in the Chechen Republic's capital Grozny, in which members of the Royal Guard’s Special Force participated. "We are happy to attend this joint training in our second home, the sisterly Chechen Republic. These exercises are part of the efforts to make the military links between the Chechen Republic and the Kingdom of Bahrain stronger." HH Lieutenant Colonel Shaikh Khalid was briefed on the drills that were organised as part of the joint training, including counter-terrorism operations, intrusion, freeing hostages and ways to maintain security and stability.
