Customs President meets UK delegation

Manama, Nov. 10 (BNA): Customs President, Shaikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalifa received Deputy Head of the UK Border Force, Barbara Wilson and Deputy Head of e-portals, Sarah Alexander. He welcomed the guests, highlighting the strong ties between the two friendly countries and the importance to enhance cooperation with partners in the world for the best economic interests. The officials were briefed about the Economic Operator Programme and the Customs Security Directorate. They visited the Khalifa bin Salman Port and The Land Customs Land Ports Security Directorate at the King Fahad Causeway to learn about implemented systems the latest development in the customs clearance.
