Assistant Foreign Minister attends Veterans Day

Manama, Nov. 11 (BNA): Delegated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, the Assistant Foreign Minister, Abdulla bin Faisal bin Jabur Al Doseri attended the Veterans Day event held by the embassy of the United Kingdom in the Kingdom of Bahrain at the embassy’s yard. The event was attended by a number of officials, diplomats and seniors. The Assistant Foreign Minister expressed pride and appreciation for the sacrifices made by the victims and soldiers of the First World War and other conflicts. He also underlined support for their efforts and achievements, noting that this event is a great opportunity to remember. He also expressed deep condolences and sympathy to the United Kingdom on the occasion of this painful anniversary. He also praised the high level of coordination and organisation of the event, expressing gratitude to the embassy for the warm welcome which reflects deep-rooted historic relations between the two countries.
