New Zealand governor-general receives ambassador credentials

Wellington, Nov. 13 (BNA): Governor-General of New Zealand Patsy Reddy has received credentials of Dr. Mohammed Ghassan Shaikho as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to New Zealand, based in Jakarta. During the meeting, the Ambassador conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, to the Governor-General of New Zealand, and their wishes of good health to her and further development to the people of New Zealand. Reddy wished the Kingdom of Bahrain and HM the King, Government and people further prosperity and development in all aspects, wishing the ambassador success in his duties in enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries. For his part, the ambassador affirmed the keenness of Bahrain to consolidate the distinguished friendship between Bahrain and New Zealand and to promote cooperation in various fields for the benefit of the two countries and people.
