Bahrain to host World Women Forum next year

Manama, Nov. 13 (BNA): Bahrain is set to host the World Women Forum 2020, adding another dimension to the rapidly emerging status of the Kingdom as a leading hub for hosting world-class conferences and meetings.
This was revealed by Sameer Abdulla Nass, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) to Bahrain News Agency (BNA) on the concluding day of three-day 18th Arab Businessmen and Investors Conference.
Titled “4th Industrial Revolution Shaping the Future Digital disruptions for a better tomorrow” ABIC 2019 has generated huge interest among the delegates and participants of the course of three days.
“We will organise the World Women Forum 2020 in November next year as we had already concluded a MOU with the International Women's Entrepreneurial Challenge Foundation for raising fund to empower youth in the field of IT and Fourth Industrial Revolution to empower our youth,” he said.
The Youth Entrepreneurship efforts and initiatives, what we see now in the West, are not the result of an accident, but are a part of a well thought out strategy aimed at creating an awareness on this very vital subject as well as to shed light on this vibrant subject, he added.
“We look forward to implementing a strategy. This successful ABIC 2019 over three days in Bahrain will fuel a debate on
entrepreneurship, investment climate, regulatory regimes and how maximum benefits could be fetched from the 4.0 Industrial Revolution by utlising technology.
The exchange of dialogue stimulates healthy discussions and thoughts while ideas come from all stakeholders including experts, ministers, businessmen, women, government officials, politicians as result of interaction. Hosting world class conferences creates awareness and stirs reaction and now we have to set a plan and carry out practical work to achieve the ideas that emerged during the conference,” he said.
