Foreign Minister receives Saudi Ambassador-Designate to Bahrain

Manama, Nov. 14 (BNA): Foreign Affairs Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, received Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, where he received a copy of his credentials as Ambassador-Designate of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Bahrain. The minister expressed Bahrain’s pride for the historical fraternal ties with Saudi Arabia, commending Saudi central strategic role at the regional and international levels and its tireless efforts in serving Arab and Islamic issues and interests. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed affirmed the continued coordination between the two kingdoms on various issues on the regional and international arenas and joint work for the consolidation of security and stability in the region, wishing the Ambassador-Designate success in his diplomatic duties. The ambassador pointed out the solid brotherly relations between the two countries in various fields, wishing Bahrain further progress and prosperity.
