Indian Ambassador praises Bahrain’s openness, religious freedom

Manama, Nov. 15 (BNA): Indian Ambassador to Bahrain, Alok Kumar, has affirmed that the members of the Indian expatriate community in Bahrain live in an atmosphere of openness as they perform their religious rituals freely, in light of the co-existence and religious freedom that distinguish the kingdom, differently from other countries. The envoy made the statements while attending the Sikh community’s 550th anniversary of the birth of the founder of Sikhism. The event was attended by many other communities, which confirms that the spirit of tolerance and co-existence contributed to the continuous presence of various communities in Bahrain.
