Bahrain’s Ambassador meets delegation

Brussels, Nov.18 (BNA): The Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Belgium, the Grand Duchess of Luxembourg, the Representative of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the European Union and the NATO, Dr. Bahia Jawad Al Jishi, met with the Chair of the Delegation for relations with the Arab Peninsula, member of the Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance, Hannah Neumann. During the meeting, the two sides expressed their pride in the friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Belgium, affirming their keenest to enhance cooperation in various fields, namely in the field of supporting women. In this context, the Ambassador underlined the advancement in the field of supporting Bahraini women, under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the vision of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of His Majesty the King, President of the Supreme Council for Women. The Ambassador also met with MEP, Member of the Renew Europe Group, Javier Nart, as well as the Member of the Identity and Democracy Group, Bernhard Zimniok, each separately. She noted the reform approach of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and its principles, such as the respect of human rights, promotion of coexistence and tolerance, which are already deep-rooted in the Bahraini society since decades ago. The meetings also saw the discussion of several issues of common interest.
