French companies intend to enter Kyrgyzstan’s market

Bishkek, Nov.20, 2019 /Kabar/. Yesterday, Nov.19, 2019 the headquarters of the MEDEF International network of French entrepreneurs in Paris hosted the meetings of Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov with Chairman of MEDEF International France-Central Asia Business Councils Christophe Fontaine and the management of a number of French companies- - GE Hydro France, Egis, Flowbird and others. The Kyrgyz side drew attention to the advantages of Kyrgyzstan's geo-economic situation. The creation of favourable conditions for doing business in the country, the establishment of the Business Ombudsman Institute, the moratorium on inspections of private enterprises for two years until Jan.1, 2021, the growth of GDP and foreign direct investment, etc. were noted. Christophe Fontaine noted the progressive deepening of relations with the Kyrgyz Republic. According to him, a number of French companies are already successfully operating in Kyrgyzstan, and some plan to enter the Kyrgyz market in the near future. Representatives of French companies noted with satisfaction the improving investment climate in Kyrgyzstan in recent years, and expressed readiness to participate in projects with their international partners that promote economic, industrial and social development of the Kyrgyz Republic. In particular, the Flowbird company, one of the world leaders in the production of parking equipment, plans to open its production in Kyrgyzstan.
