Agricultural products of Kyrgyzstan presented at international exhibition in India

Bishkek, Nov.20, 2019 /Kabar/. The Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in India presented agricultural products in the form of dried fruits and honey at the 39th India International Trade Fair 2019 (IITF), which is held in New Delhi on Nov. 14-27, 2019, the Embassy’s press service said. More than 175 companies from 20 countries take part in this exhibition, including China, Great Britain, Thailand, Qatar, Turkey, Malaysia, Bahrain, Taiwan, Bhutan and others. India’s Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises and Road Transport & Highways Nitin Gadkari participated as the main guest at the official opening ceremony of the exhibition on Nov. 14. The theme for the 39th edition of the fair is 'Ease of Doing Business' inspired by India's unique achievement of rising to 63rd rank on the World Bank's Ease of Doing Business Index from 142nd rank in the year 2014. The India International Trade Fair (IITF) is an annual event organised in the capital by the India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO). Ever since its inception in 1980, the event has evolved as one of the world’s largest trade fairs in terms of the number of exhibitors as well as visitors. Millions of people visit this fair every year, including overseas businessmen, wholesale suppliers & retailers, diplomats, merchant exporters/manufacturers, entrepreneurs, consultants & purchase professionals, overseas & Indian industry associations, importers & distributors, policymakers, media and general public.
