Foreign Minister: Manama Dialogue important platform to discuss regional developments

Manama, Nov. 21 (BNA): The 15th Manama Dialogue Conference, organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), is to kick-start on Friday and continue until November 24.
On this occasion, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, took pride in its great international reputation.
He said its status reflects the policy of the Kingdom of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
It is, he added, an indication of the political leadership’s keenness to consolidate Bahrain’s relations with brotherly and friendly countries and their committed approach to interaction and cooperation with the countries of the world to achieve all sides’ interests towards a brighter and more prosperous future for the world.
Shaikh Khalid affirmed that the Manama Dialogue Conference has become an important platform for senior officials and experts from across the world to exchange visions and ideas on the most important developments in the region in order to seek durable solutions to problems and enhance security, stability and development.
He also commended the efforts of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) and their cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in organizing the Manama Dialogue.
He said the conference discusses a host of issues affecting the countries of the region and representing a source of concerns for all world countries with the aim of consolidating global peace and security, wishing the event success in achieving its objectives.
