BDF Chief receives Italian Chief of Staff

Manama, Nov. 23 (BNA): Commander-in-Chief of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received at the Ritz Carlton Hotel today Chief of Staff of the Italian Armed Forces Lt.Gen Enzo vecciarelli and his accompanying delegation on the occasion of his visit to Bahrain to participate in the 15th edition of the IISS Manama Dialogue. The meeting was attended by Defence Minister Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi and Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Dhiab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi. The BDF Commander-in-Chief welcomed the Italian Chief of Staff, lauding friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Italy. They discussed ways of boosting bilateral relations and issues of common interest. Present at the meeting were General Command Court Director Major General Hassan Mohammed Sa’ad, Assistant Chief of Staff for Supply and Catering Rear Admiral Yusef Ahmed Malallah, Military Cooperation Director Rear Admiral Mohammed Hashim Al Sadah and BDF senior officers.
