HH Shaikh Nasser: Bahrain-UK relations progressing steadily

Manama, Nov. 24 (BNA): HM the King’s Representative for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has stressed that the Bahrain-UK friendly relations are constantly progressing at all levels thanks to the two kingdoms’ long history of mutual understanding and respect. HH Shaikh Nasser highlighted the need to broaden joint cooperation through expanding the existing partnerships and opening up new fields of cooperation to serve shared interests. This came as HH Shaikh Nasser received here today the Director-General of Security Policy at the British Ministry of Defence, Dominic Wilson, in the presence of the UK Ambassador to Bahrain. Dominic Wilson stressed the importance of strengthening relations between the two countries in various fields, affirming his country’s keenness to enhance the distinguished relations between the two friendly nations.
