Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan to enhance cooperation in field of education

Bishkek, Nov.28, 2019. /Kabar/. Minister of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Kanybek Isakov met with his Kazakh counterpart Askhat Aimagambetov, and exchanged views on a number of issues. During the meeting, the ministers talked about school reforms, expansion of academic mobility of students, improvement of cooperation between universities of the two countries, the press service of the Kyrgyz Education Ministry reported Thursday. In addition, Isakov and Aimagambetov discussed holding of joint seminars and conferences to improve scientific ties. Currently, about 2000 Kazakh students study in Kyrgyzstan, and approximately 1000 students from the Kyrgyz Republic gain knowledge at universities of the neighboring country.
