President arrives in Tashkent to attend II Consultative Meeting of CA leaders

Tashkent , Nov. 29, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov has arrived in Tashkent (Uzbekistan) to attend the Second Consultative Meeting of Heads of Central Asian States.
The agenda of the Meeting includes the expansion of regional cooperation in political, trade and economic, investment, transport and communication, cultural and humanitarian and other areas. The Meeting is expected to result in the adoption of the final document, the President's press service said.
Presidents of Kyrgyzstan-Sooronbay Jeenbekov, Tajikistan-Emomali Rahmon, Turkmenistan- Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Uzbekistan- Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will attend the Meeting.
As part of the Second Consultative Meeting, a bilateral meeting of Sooronbay Jeenbekov with Uzbek leader Shavkat Mirziyoyev is expected.
The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic includes Minister of Foreign Affairs Chingiz Aidarbekov, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the President's Office Daniyar Sydykov, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Uzbekistan Ibrahim Junusov, Deputy Prime Minister Jenish Razakov, Minister of Economy Sanjar Mukanbetov and Minister of Transport and Roads Zhanat Beishenov.
The initiative to hold regular Consultative Meetings of heads of state of Central Asian states was put forward by President of Uzbekistan during the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in September 2017.
The First Consultative Meeting was held on Mar.15, 2018 in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
