Jeenbekov takes part in II Second Consultative Meeting of CA leaders

Tashkent, Nov.29, 2019. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov is taking part in the Second Consultative Meeting of Heads of Central Asian States in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where he has arrived for one-day working visit. The Second Consultative Meeting traditionally began with a joint photographing of Presidents. Then, Central Asian leaders moved on to the Small Session Hall, where the Meeting will be held in a narrow format. According to the Kyrgyz President’s press service, the agenda of the Meeting includes the expansion of regional cooperation in political, trade and economic, investment, transport and communication, cultural and humanitarian and other areas. The event is expected to result in the adoption of the final document. Presidents of Kyrgyzstan-Sooronbay Jeenbekov, Tajikistan-Emomali Rahmon, Turkmenistan- Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow, Uzbekistan- Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev are taking part in the Meeting. The initiative to hold regular Consultative Meetings of heads of state of Central Asian states was put forward by President of Uzbekistan during the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in September 2017. The First Consultative Meeting was held on Mar.15, 2018 in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.
