Yemen, Jordan discuss military cooperation

SANA'A, April 12 (Saba)- Chairman of General Staff Ahmed al-Ashwal held talks on
Sunday with the visiting Jordanian delegation headed by Mufti of Jordanian army
Abdul-Kareem al-Khasoanh over military cooperation between Yemen and Jordan.

Al-Ashwal welcomed the delegation, affirming joint concern to enhance the military
cooperation between the two countries under sponsorship of President Ali Abdullah
Saleh and King Abdullah II of Jordan.

The head of the Jordanian delegation, al-Khasoanh conveyed regards of the chairman
of Jordanian general staff to al-Ashwal, voicing readiness to offer all assistance
to serve brotherly relations between the tow countries.

The Jordanian delegation paid a visit to the leadership of the republican guards. On
Saturday, the delegation also visited moral guide of the Yemeni military and the
center of training of special guards.
