Yemen, UNFPA discuss reproductive health cooperation

SANA'A, April 12 (Saba) - Yemen and United Nations Populations Fund (UNFPA)
discussed here on Sunday ways of strengthening mutual cooperation, particularly in
reproductive health field.

Minister of Public Health and Population Abdul Karim Rase'a reviewed with UNFPA
deputy representative in Sana'a rates of maternal and neonatal mortality at the
central level and governorates as well.

During the meeting, both sides affirmed the importance of realizing the fourth and
fifth millennium goals on the improvement of maternal health and combating HIV.
