Prospects for exports of Kyrgyz agricultural products to Qatar discussed in Doha

Bishkek, Dec.9, 2019. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Qatar Chyngyz Eshimbekov held meeting with Assistant Under-Secretary for Agriculture and Fisheries Affairs at the Ministry of Municipality and Environment of Qatar Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser Al Thani. The meeting was held in Doha at the initiative of the Kyrgyz side. The sides discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of agriculture, as well as the participation of the Kyrgyz Republic in the AGRITECH-2020 International Exhibition, the press service of the Kyrgyz foreign Ministry said. Ambassador Eshimbekov informed about the agricultural potential of Kyrgyzstan, and noted the prospects of supplying domestic products to the Qatari market. Deputy Minister Sheikh Faleh bin Nasser Al Thani expressed his readiness to provide the necessary assistance to representatives of the Kyrgyz Republic in the upcoming exhibition. As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on close mutual coordination of the discussed issues, and holding a number of visits at various levels to identify priority areas for joint work.
