Plan for combating piracy announced

SANA'A, April 13 (Saba)-Minister of Defense Mohammed Nasar Ahmed
announced on Monday that the ministry has a plan to combat piracy
acts which target ships in Aden Gulf , east of Indian Ocean and
Red Sea.

In his reply on a question by the members of parliament over efforts
of his ministry in this issue, the minister said that the piracy is
in the top agenda of the higher security committee that prepared the
plan to deal with such acts.

He pointed out to the regional and international cooperation to
protect the stability and security of water outlets.
