Yemen, Donor states discuss development issues

SANA'A, April 13 (Saba) - Prime Minister Ali Mujawar held on Monday
talks with Donors countries ambassadors on the development
cooperation issues for the coming period.

The talks of Mujawar and the foreign officials dealt with the
National Agenda Reforms in the fields of economy, legislation,
administration, investment and what has been achieved in the area of
combating corruption, reforming a system of tenders and auctions,
fighting terrorism and enhancing the independence of judiciary.

Mujawar confirmed the politics measures taken by his government to
meet the economics and development challenges resulting from the
global financial crisis, expressing his pleasure with the current
partnership of Yemen and the donors.

The Yemeni official referred to the official bodies' efforts in the
field of the reconstruction in each of Sa'ada, Hadramout and Maharah
provinces.

For their part, the foreign diplomats affirmed their countries'
support to the development programs in Yemen, highlighting to what
has been done in the area of anti-corruption and judicial reforms
and expressing their forward-looking to more reforms packages in
Yemen.
