GOVT RAISES RP7.45 TRILLION FROM BONDS ISSUE



Jakarta, Apr 15 (ANTARA) - The government raised Rp7.45 trillion in funds from the sale of three series of rupiah-denominated bonds in an auction here on Tuesday.

The bonds put to the auction carried series SPN20100415, FR0030
(reopening), and FR0044 (reopening), the Directorate General of Debt Management at the Finance Ministry said in a statement.
In the auction, the government received Rp7.72 trillion bids for the SPN20100415 bonds, Rp3.98 trillion bids for the FR0030 bonds and Rp2.87 trillion bids for the FR0044 bonds, the statement said.
The SPN20100415 bonds were issued at the lowest yield of 8.88 percent and the highest yield of 9.63 percent, the FR0030 bonds at the lowest yield of 11.41 percent and the highest yield of 11.91 percent, and the FR0044 bonds at the lowest yield of 12.31 percent and the highest yield of 13.0 percent, it said.
In the auction of the SPN20100415 bonds, the government received Rp2.1 trillion consisting of Rp1.1 trillion in competitive amount and Rp1.0 trillion in non-competitive amount, with the average weighted yield of 8.96 percent. The bonds will be issued on April 16, 2009 and mature on April 15, 2010.
The auction of the FR0030 bonds yielded Rp2.95 trillion consisting of Rp2.64 trillion in competitive amount and Rp0.32
trillion in non-competitive amount, with the average weighted yield of 11.55 percent and a coupon of 10.75 percent. The bonds will be issued also on April 16, 2009 and fall due on May 15, 2016.
The auction of the FR0044 bonds produced Rp2.4 trillion consisting of Rp2.09 trillion in competitive amount and Rp0.31 trillion in non-competitive amount, with the average weighted yield of 12.44 percent and a coupon of 10.0 percent. The bonds will be issued also on April 16, 2009 and become due on September 15, 2024.
