Over 100 Kyrgyz enterprises receive access to EAEU market

Bishkek, Feb.10, 2020. /Kabar/. 102 domestic enterprises are included into the Register of Enterprises that can supply to the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states (Russia and Kazakhstan), the press service of the Government of Kyrgyzstan reported on Monday.
The Unified Registry of Certification Authorities of the EAEU includes 37 accredited testing laboratories (26 of the accredited test laboratories included in the Unified Register of the Union have the state form of ownership, 11 - private).
Out of 48 adopted technical regulations of the Customs Union/Eurasian Economic Union, laboratories and certification bodies are accredited under 25 CU/EAEU technical regulations.
In addition, 1 veterinary laboratory and 1 phytosanitary laboratory in the cities of Bishkek and Osh are accredited.
The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) is an economic union of states located in central and northern Asia and Eastern Europe. The Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union was signed on 29 May 2014 by the leaders of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia, and came into force on Jan.1, 2015.
Treaties aiming for Armenia's and Kyrgyzstan's accession to the Eurasian Economic Union were signed on Oct.9 and Dec.23, 2014, respectively.
The Eurasian Economic Union has an integrated single market of 180 million people and a gross domestic product of over Int$5 trillion.
The EAEU encourages the free movement of goods, services and provides for common policies in the macroeconomic sphere, transport, industry and agriculture, energy, foreign trade and investment, customs, technical regulation, competition and antitrust regulation.
