Kyrgyzstan, Germany’s Saxony plan to develop linkages in various fields

Bishkek, Feb.13, 2020. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the Federal Republic of Germany Erines Otorbayev met with Chief of the State Chancellery and Minister of State for Federal and European Affairs in the Free State of Saxony Oliver Schenk.
The meeting was held in Dresden at the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported.
"During the meeting, the sides discussed opportunities and plans for developing trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian relations with Saxony," the report says.
Special attention was paid to the sphere of agriculture and interaction of cooperative systems, and the importance of further strengthening of comprehensive cooperation between the Kyrgyz-German Institute of Applied Informatics and the West Saxon University of Applied Sciences Zwickau, which was launched in 2004 and has been successfully developing all these years was emphasized.
Ambassador Otorbayev invited Saxony’s delegation and business community to take part in the first European Union-Central Asia Economic Forum to be held in July this year in Kyrgyzstan, as well as plans for other joint events.
