Ambassador Rustenbekov meets with Kyrgyz students studying at Tajik universities

Bishkek, Feb.17, 2020. /Kabar/. The Tajik capital city of Dushanbe hosted the meeting of Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan Janysh Rustenbekov with Kyrgyz students studying at Tajik universities. The meeting was also attended by Head of the Compatriot Kyrgyz Diaspora Kurmanbayev, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported on Monday. The exchange of views in the Q&A format on the development of education, culture and tourism took place. Ambassador Rustenbekov informed that according to the Decree of President Sooronbay Jeenbekov, 2020 is declared the Year of Regional Development, Digitalization of the Country and Support for Children. It was noted the development of regions is a key priority of public policy of the country, and digital technologies are an important factor in improving the quality of life. The Kyrgyz ambassador told about the achievements of the republic, and encouraged young people to make a worthy contribution to the development of the country. He noted 2020 is an important year for the future of Kyrgyzstan and its people. Parliamentary elections will be held in autumn this year. Addressing the students, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, who study in Tajikistan, Janysh Rustenbekov called for active participation in this important political event.
