US Earth Water Company to help Yemen get water from air

SANA'A, April 15 (Saba) - Experts from Earth Water American company
paid a visit to Yemen to study the ability of producing water
through the air in the Yemeni regions lack of waters.

General Director James Scud made it clear to Saba that he will
review the technology of producing water and its advantages which
used by the company to produce water through the air and how it will
contribute to solve many problems in some regions in Yemen.

"We will contribute with our partners in Yemen to solve waters
problems and we know that there are several Yemeni regions in need
of water," said Scud, adding " we will work together to reduce this
suffering."

He said he believes that the modern technology will produce a lot
of safe waters in different islands and coastal areas..

Yemen, which lies in the southern corner of the Arabian Peninsula,
represents one of the best particular case studies for the need of
water planning and management.

Yemen has no efficient distribution of water, which is extremely
apparent in the dry regions where very little rainfall occurs
annually if at all.

The coastal plain of the North is damp and generally receives little
precipitation while the interior experiences considerable rainfall
ranging from about 400 millimeters to about 800 millimeters annually.
