Dzhumabekov meets in Saudi Arabia with leadership of Chamber of Commerce and business representatives

The delegation of the Jogorku Kenesh, led by Speaker Dastanbek Dzhumabekov, met with the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and representatives of the business community during an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reported. The sides discussed issues of expanding trade and economic relations and strengthening investment cooperation. Speaker Dzhumabekov noted that Kyrgyzstan is interested in investments of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. “We need to continue to actively strengthen political ties through enhanced economic cooperation. Kyrgyzstan has good investment opportunities, and we support projects such as the export of environmentally friendly agricultural and meat products,” he said. He added that the organization of trade exhibitions both in Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia will help to establish effective partnerships between businessmen. In turn, the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and representatives of the business community noted their interest in expanding trade and economic ties and opening direct flights between the two countries. It was also proposed to hold a Kyrgyz trade exhibition not only in the capital of Saudi Arabia, but also in other cities. After that, the parliamentary delegation visited the new complex of buildings of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and got acquainted with its work. The official visit of the delegation of the Jogorku Kenesh was organized at the invitation of Chairman of the Majlis Ash-Shur Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Ibrahim Al Ash-Sheikh.
