Entrepreneurs from Turkey’s Bursa invited to Kyrgyz-Turkish Business Forum

Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Turkey Kubanychbek Omuraliyev presented in Turkey’s Bursa city the investment climate and opportunities in the Kyrgyz Republic, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported on Wednesday. During the trip, Omuraliyev held meeting with Bursa Mayor Alinur Aktaş, where he expressed the need to establish twin-city relations between Bursa and one of the cities of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Kyrgyz ambassador also met with the management and members of the Board and entrepreneurs of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the host city. He made a presentation on investment climate and opportunities in Kyrgyzstan, business conditions (liberal taxes, costs of doing business, etc.), macroeconomic indicators and foreign trade turnover of the Kyrgyz Republic, the country’s membership in the Eurasian Economic Union and disseminated public-private partnership projects. "The ambassador invited businessmen to participate in Kyrgyz-Turkish Business Forum to be held in summer 2020. He also answered their questions," the report says. Bursa is a large city in Turkey, located in northwestern Anatolia, within the Marmara Region. The fourth most populous city in Turkey and second most populous in Marmara Region, Bursa functions as one of the industrial and trade centres of Turkey (especially in respect of the automotive industry). The city is also the capital of Bursa Province. Bursa is the centre of the Turkish automotive industry. Factories of motor vehicle producers like Fiat, Renault and Karsan, as well as automotive parts producers like Bosch, Mako, Valeo, Johnson Controls, Delphi have been active in the city for decades. The textile and food industries are equally strong, with Coca-Cola, Pepsi Cola and other beverage brands, as well as fresh and canned food industries being present in the city's organized industrial zones.
