Kyrgyzstan's Institute of Ombudsman, Int’l Kuwait University strengthen co-op

Bishkek, Feb.20, 2020./Kabar/. Ombudsman of Kyrgyzstan Tokon Mamytov visited the International Kuwait University in Kyrgyzstan, the Ombudsman's press service said. During the visit, the ombudsman and Rector of the International Kuwait University (IKU) Asan Ormushev signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with IKU. The objectives of the Memorandum are the development and strengthening bilateral relations in the fields of law enforcement, human rights, education and research, and promotion of cooperation between the main human rights institution of Kyrgyzstan and the International Kuwait University. The Memorandum has entered into force and will be valid for 1 year, with an option to extend it for another year. In addition, Ombudsman Mamytov gave a lecture to the teaching staff and students of the IKU, during which he spoke about the main activities of the Institute of Ombudsman of the Kyrgyz Republic.
