Kyrgyz Justice Ministry, EBRD to continue co-op in digitalization of services to population

Bishkek, Feb.21, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Justice Minister Marat Dzhmankulov met with European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Regional Head for Central Asia Neil McKain and Deputy Head for ICA Projects, EBRD Senior Banker of Representative Office in the Kyrgyz Republic Jyldyz Galiyeva.
During the meeting, Marat Dzhamankulov thanked the EBRD for providing financial support to the Justice Ministry for implementation of the “Digital Kyrgyzstan 2019-2023” Concept of Digital Transformation.
The minister noted certain results have been achieved in 2019- “Electronic Notary" and "Online registration of legal entities” automated information systems were introduced.
At present, there is need to continue systematic work to improve the quality of these information systems.
"In developing and implementing the ministry's digital services, special emphasis is placed on providing services in digital form without the need for personal visits. Automation of procedures should significantly reduce the time of service provision, ensure transparency and exclude human factor," Dzhamankulov said.
In his turn, Neil McKain expressed his intention to further strengthen relations with the Justice Ministry, as well as to provide financial support for the implementation of certain activities planned by this state body.
At the end of the meeting, Minister Dzhamankulov thanked the EBRD representatives for the support and presented them with ministerial awards.
