Kyrgyzstan ranks second at women’s wrestling of Asian Championship

Bishkek, Feb.21, 2020./Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's Aiperi Medet kyzy took the second place in the Asian Women's Wrestling Championship in India. The bout was held yesterday in New Delhi. The domestic wrestler competed in the weight category up to 76 kg. She had two victories, and was twice defeated. The Kyrgyz wrestler defeated Uzbekistan's Muhlisa Normuminova, then lost to Hiroe Minagawa Suzuki from Japan. After taking second place in the group, Aiperi Medet kyzy reached the semi-finals, where she defeated Kazakhstani Elmira Syzdykova. In the final, she met again with the Japanese representative Hiroe Minagawa Suzuki and lost. The national wrestler has become silver medalist of the Asian Women's Wrestling Championship.
